The 14km race starts in the Kommandaria village of Agios Konstantinos and heads up to Papoutsa Peak (1522m) via the scenic Eagles Nest trail. Runners then freewheel back down the trails again to the finish line at the Agios Konstantinos Cafe, with its spectacular view over valleys, vineyards and hills.

Shorter run of 8km to Eagles Nest and back. Family fun run of 2km-4km.

Enjoy a deserved post-run drink on us at the Cafe. Meals are also on sale at reasonable prices.

Entry fee for 14km race, 10 euros. For 8km race, entry fee is 5 euros.

Note that this race will not have finishers' awards, but there will be prizes for the top three women and top three men in the 14km and 8km races.  There will also be prizes for the first junior -- 14 and under -- girl and boy.. All runners also stand a chance of winning one of the many "spot" prizes during the lucky draw at prize-giving (which will start at about 2.30pm).

There will be an aid station with water and Coke for the 14km race, but note that, like at all Cyprus Trail Runners events, there will be no disposable cups at the aid station. Runners need to carry their own reusable bottles or cups.

*This race is the last of the La Sportiva Cyprus Mountain Running Championship series for 2018 -- race positions will earn runners points for the championship.
